an Innocent Life

my friend Claud’s band Metal Salad debuted on wednesday at his place with a minor concert show.. they were actually set to debut at the cancelled “Mosh Mania”. and since that couldnt be done .. they decided to play on their own instead. only close friends and other select people were invited to watch it.

they started with Korn’s version of ” brick in the wall” and they played most of the pieces well some didnt turn out that good.. but for their first try without much practice . they had an original instrumental which was nice…last the concert ended with the traditional Baila at around 9.

they played korn, megadeth, iron maiden,3dors down,jon bon jovi,deep purple and a couple of dance songs!!!

  well i read about 8hands on the October issue of Digit mag and wanted to check it out… ” 8hands organizes all of your different online profiles, so you could reach them from your desktop and get real time notifications of your current online events.” was what it said and i wanted to know whether it really did that…an application which does such a thing should surely be given a look see. So after a couple of days.. like after my exams i went to download it. its a huge File.. 10.23MB (about) … and its a bit sluggish on my PC .. but then its in the Alpha version and there’s still a lot of work to be done … right now it supports quite a bit of the social networks and more seem to be added.. the website says that u can add blogs to it too.. but ive not been able to figure out how yet… i have added Facebook, Flickr and Twitter(you can use it to update twitter too ) to it… those were the ones i knew how to add. If anyone else figures out how to add anymore..please let me know Thus it does show you the latest updates from your friends and also helps you IM the ones who have 8hands on their desktop

after you setup the file… it shows you a flash tour of it… which is really a cute idea!!! and also those 8hands icons are too good!!!! i tried to upload a screenshot.. but gave up since i accidently deleted it and wasnt in the mood to do it again….
