an Innocent Life

Life is got back to its unpredictable self.. im getting nowhere fast..internals in 4 days and i seem to be clueless..dont know whats gonna happen.

right now on of the most interesting things going on is that im trying to build up my “caught napping” photo collection.. thats something we do when we are feeling evil and bored during our daily journey. the collection is 8 photos big and has almost everyone.. except karthik.. thats because he gets down at padubidri to catch the bus to Manipal while the rest of us travel to Mangalore

things going on in college are : Karthik got his much awaited branch shift to IS, Election fever caught up with the EC dept. and surprised the lecturers because it wasnt seen in the last few years..but then our year is one very special one :)) Our amazing free time continues with only 4 hrs of classes being held almost everyday!!!! at this rate we dont actually need to bunk them… however EC ma’am has started eating my head with her oh so boring lecture…. i need time to cool off after that hour.. i got lost in LD decoders because of her…

last of all im addicted to Facebook.. not in the sense totally with withdrawal symptoms and all … just setting up my profile there….

India won the 20-20 world cup in a thriller of a match … this said by just a non addict of cricket like me is really a lot!!!!

the new oxford “short” dictionary has nearly abolished the hyphen so i say goodbye to good-bye

the results were out last sunday and it was official that i had passed the first year with flying colours!!! no surprise there..just thought i might get a bit lesser..thankfully my principle of never expecting ur results works wonders everytime.

as talked about last time..this time round there’s a new guy in class…a senior who rejected his 3 sem marks and ended up in our class..Man! is he irritating…he creeps everyone out!!!!! while talking to people he pokes them, catches their hands and pleads them for help…i feel that its pathetic..im a nice guy and almost the last one not to have yelled at him ” to Keep away!!” as a result he asks me a varied amount of things which is the reason why my friends used to call him my ” new best friend”. Into first month, he was the talk of the class and the next as well now things have cooled out and the topics have changed to better things like branch changes and section changes.

another thing about Second year…we are on the third floor of the old building!!!thats where the EC dept. is …its ok…nice vantage point and all also for some reason our timetable isnt so packed as it was in the first year . we are gettin a whole lot of free hours and half days. i guess so far we might have had abut 5 full days till 4. All the better coz we laze around with lunch and then come home. The EC lecturers too have been taking a lot of holidays and so its good!!! we were supposed to have sunday class this week but we managed to shift all our classes or cancel them.The lecturers werent gonna come, why should we????

second year also means that we are gonna have to study our core subjects . here’s what i will be studying this sem.

• Network Analysis
• Electronic Circuits
• Electronic instrumentation
• Field Theory
• logic design
• and of course, math-3
• Digital and analog lab are the two labs.

ive just got one eBook and a couple of solution manuals so far.. we also xeroxed the recommended texts , just so that it would be lighter on our pockets we are still waiting for out VTU texts to be released. i only have Math for now.

going through the library i came across this book which i wanna read next!!!!! and my guitar playing has improved

ive been having some probs with my comp slowing down due to lack of RAM so havnt been active much this week. sorry for not commenting on ur blogs..i have read most of the posts. will comment soon.

this is the story of our First Bunk..the library was issuing the book bank books so we just had a half hour of class the first hour so we thought “what the heck!!!, lets bunk FT” so we did and staked out the Library. FT is supposedly a deadly subject but most of us dont make perfect sense of what the sir is teaching us and so it doesnt really matter that we sit in the class.. the thing is that we ended up gettin really Sad texts but the bunk was still worth it.. meanwhile in the class . there’s a plate kept under the desk in the last bench. it predates our class and god alone knows how it around to being there!!! so that very plate gets passed around and the remaining ppl in class sign their names on it. a couple of us sign on it after returning back. thats pretty much it…wud have put up the pic if i figured how to shift it to the comp.

next story is hopefully about ” my new Best Friend” a surprise!!!!!!

there was some problem while publishing this last saturday..so im typing it again..well im back..after a lOOOOng time…my motherboard had an “intermediate” problem and that took almost a month to be repaired!!! meanwhile my cell fell into a puddle of water and i spent a weekend worrying about it..now its almost ok except that the Memory card is screwed and i dont know how to transfer pics from the phone memory to the comp. so i will take some more time to start blogging fully.
