Hmm..

Two posts in a day after a long Week..Well not a lot s been up and about this week.

Well i had heard about Yahoo’s New ” Our City ” Feature and so tried it out..Its Cool!!! Because it does feature Mangalore for one thing.. its showcases everything from Blogs which write about the City to Photos from Flickr( another Yahoo company)..its also got podcasts,travel tips, News..and definitely Maps
The Bookmarks showed up a familiar Link to me..one of Sindhu’s Photos from her now defunct flickr account..i must remind myself to tag my Photos as Mangalore… well Sindhu has now moved onto a new host and i’ve updated the link to that on the Blog roll.

the past month saw me dabble with french..but my i just couldnt drag myself to do all that Hardwork..since the Guitar takes up more then enough of my Lounging time( that refers to whatever time there exists after i come home free from the Net time , the TV time, food,..etc..,, however it doesnt include the study time) Got a new Book to read ..but barely touched it..i Want to read “the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy”..but Its HUGE!!!

On my TV schedule..what i’m watching Now is Star World’s “Less Than Perfect” ( awesome Insults), the evergreen Simpsons..and Obviously “Heroes” this Years hottest series…I’m damn addicted to it ..me being a comic book and Anime Fan..Also started watching Initial D ~1 stage..a Anime About Street racing..looks cool what with the 3D graphics…

Too many Movies to watch and Not enough time or Money

The Next sessionals are coming closer and somehow i’ve gotta make up my mind to study and get better marks than last time…Been Visiting blogs in class over GPRS on Karthik’s Phone..saw most of the Blogs looking Screwy and so gave up..on the other hand Mine looks good and fits to the Page. Thinking about Getting GPRS on my phone now.. Hmm..

at the moment ..i’m re-thinking some stuff..

well i was thinking about what to blog about this week and well just thought why not but up a poem here written by my Uncle..!!!

its quite funny..especially when it’s supposed to be a  apology poem..

well thats it..its a bit corky in my opinion..but it makes u smile when u are gloomy..most of his original messages are like that..they just come out of no where..I’ve been inspired by him to write Corky stuff and am already on it.

yes this is an SMS…
but it made me think…coz u see it was sent by someone i know pretty well and i know what that message means to him/her.
The Person has gone through a lot ..and when finally he/she found someone who was perfect for him/her.When The story is starting to sound like a fairy tale it comes to light that It can never Be soo.

Here Caste Becomes the Ugly Villain..In India today it still exists and rules over the right of marriage to whom and which caste that person belongs too. Even Dowry too exists and this makes a mockery of out of our Educational system which makes us study Essays( Compositions) thats says us that they have been abolished and should not be continued,.. yes they have indeed changed the Mindset of the younger generation but we gotta Listen to Our Elders na!!!! ” thats Tradition ” they say. And Poof!! there goes everything.

Recently the Supreme Court gave out a statement that “Only in India do we see People Claiming to be Backward!!!” (something like that,dont remember it exactly..buts that the Essence of It). and yes thats what it said on the OBC 27% reservation while keeping a stay order..many were relieved but now i guess the governmant wants to implement it.who knows what will happen in the future.Now im not saying that ‘reservation is Bad!!’ its just that the Creamy Layer should be left out of it. Thats what i’ve always been saying. Seen too much Injustice in Life in that area.

Oh God Everything is Politics.

OK Now back to that friend of mine.. well Come on Now ‘Is that Right???’ i dont think so..well as i am writing this i came to realise that we can not always have what we might want. Although “WANT” is quite a Big word. The status in that person’s life is such that whatever Time is left that they can spend together they are doing so..believe me i’ve heard both sides of the stories and thats why i felt like writing this.
